Andrich reacts to transfer saga involving Tah

Tah to remain with Leverkusen

Bayer Leverkusen defender Jonathan Tah has decided to stay at the club despite interest from other clubs, including Bayern Munich. Tah's contract was due to expire at the end of the season, but he has now signed a new deal that will keep him at Leverkusen until 2024.

Andrich's reaction

Andrich has welcomed Tah's decision to stay at Leverkusen. The midfielder believes Tah is a key player for the team and is happy that he has committed his future to the club. "I'm very happy that Jonathan has decided to stay," said Andrich. "He's a great player and a great guy. He's a leader on and off the pitch and I'm sure he will continue to be a success at Leverkusen."

Tah's importance to Leverkusen

Tah has been a key player for Leverkusen since joining the club from Hamburger SV in 2015. The 25-year-old has made over 200 appearances for the club and has helped them win the DFB-Pokal in 2019. Tah is a versatile defender who can play in a number of positions, including center-back and left-back. He is also a good passer and has a good eye for goal.

Leverkusen's ambitions

Leverkusen are currently sixth in the Bundesliga and are looking to qualify for next season's Champions League. Andrich believes that Tah's decision to stay at the club will help them achieve their goals. "Jonathan is a key player for us," said Andrich. "He's a leader and a winner. I'm sure he will help us achieve our goals this season."
